The Story

The Situation

A £25m fire and security group operating in construction and events needed someone to take ownership of the finance function and stabilise day-to-day processes.

The Intervention

AR automation went live within 7 days. A full review of accounting software followed, including new AI-native entrants, with assessment case studies produced and a recommendation drawn up for this specific business.

The Outcome

Two leavers didn't need replacing, taking the finance team from four to two. A review of the accounts team structure identified recruitment and development opportunities, and an apprenticeship scheme was rolled out to build a future team of skilled operators.
