Software decisions get made under time pressure, for the problem in front of you at the time. Two or three years later, the business has changed shape and the stack hasn't kept up, but nobody's sure if that means a small fix or a full replacement. Getting an honest, outside view before committing to either is what prevents an expensive wrong turn.

WHAT THIS MEANS

The right systems for what's next is when the finance software in place works for the business as it is, but nobody's tested whether it's the right foundation for the business it's becoming.

SITUATION

The Situation

1

What usually happens

The decision gets delayed because nobody wants to commit to an expensive change without being sure it's the right one, so the workarounds keep piling up instead.
2

How Pillr helps

An independent view of what the current systems can and can't do, and a clear recommendation (fix, extend, or replace) before any money gets committed.

How we get you ready

1

An honest systems assessment

What's actually holding you back, not a vendor's pitch for what to buy.

2

A recommendation, not just a report

Fix, extend, or replace, and why.

3

Implementation support that isn't the vendor's

Someone in your corner who isn't selling the software.

Questions we get asked

Are you going to recommend a specific software platform?

We'll recommend what's right for your business, and we're not tied to any vendor, so there's no incentive to push a particular platform. Sometimes the answer is a new system. Just as often it's using what you already have properly.

How do you assess whether our current setup is right?

We look at where the workarounds are, where data has to be re-entered or reconciled manually, and where reporting takes longer than it should. Those are the tells that show whether it's a training gap, a configuration issue, or a genuine platform limitation.

What if we've just invested in new software and it's still not working?

That's common, and usually fixable without another platform change. Most of the time the software's fine and the setup or the processes around it aren't, which is a faster, cheaper fix than starting over.

OUR APPROACH

Getting started is simple

Get in touch and we'll set up a short call to talk through where things stand. If a Sprint is the right next step, we'll scope it there and then. If it's Build, Scale, or Deal, we'll tell you that too, and why.
