The new Pillr website is live.
Pillr has a new identity, and this is the first place you'll see all of it.
The mark has a deliberate misalignment in it. It stands for the messy middle of growth, where systems drift apart before someone puts them back in line. Finance firms don't usually put that in their logo, which is why we did.
The site is organised around what's happening in the business. Challenges lists situations like cash flow under pressure, a finance lead leaving or an investor conversation coming up, and points each one to the engagement that fits: Sprint, Build, Scale or Deal. Every engagement is scoped to an outcome before anything is signed.
Engagements has examples of the work. Insights is where we write about strategic finance.
When I launched Pillr, I quickly realised that the traditional fractional model, however well intentioned, had a fundamental problem. Founders were coming to me not because they understood what they needed, but because hiring a fractional FD was what the thought they were supposed to do. Many had already tried it and couldn't tell me what they'd actually got for their money. And the market wasn't helping. Too many people calling themselves fractional CFOs or FDs without ever having held the seat for real.So I made a deliberate decision to reposition. Not a fractional resource. A firm. One that works with growing, founder-led businesses and is clear about what it does, what it delivers, and what it costs, all before anything is signed. That's what Pillr is now built to be.
