SITUATION

The Situation

1

What usually happens

The team knows the business inside out, but the finance information was built for compliance, not a transaction. Diligence finds the gaps; the deal slows; leverage shifts.
2

How Pillr helps

Deal-grade forecasts, a defensible information pack, and a finance function that stands up to lender and investor scrutiny. Built before it's asked for.

How we get you ready

1

The model

A defensible forecast and operating model a lender or investor can stress-test.

2

The information pack

Clean, consistent numbers and the data room a buyer's diligence will ask for, before they ask.

3

Diligence readiness

Quality of earnings, working capital and the questions that stall deals, surfaced and answered early.

Questions we get asked

How early should finance preparation start?

Six to twelve months before the conversation, so the numbers tell the story before someone else's diligence does.

What will lenders and investors look at?

Quality of earnings, working capital movement, and whether the forecast holds up under questioning. They're not looking for a perfect number. They're looking for whether the numbers are ones you can defend.

Do we need a full-time CFO for this?

Not necessarily. Most MBOs need senior finance judgement for a defined period around the transaction, not a permanent hire. That's what Deal is built for: the seniority in the room without adding headcount you won't need once the deal closes.

OUR APPROACH

Getting started is simple

Get in touch and we'll set up a short call to talk through where things stand. If a Sprint is the right next step, we'll scope it there and then. If it's Build, Scale, or Deal, we'll tell you that too, and why.
